per somnia — through dreams
I’ve probably always been someone who likes to dream—
not just the kind you have in your sleep,
but the kind about the future, the world, and what might be possible.
I chose computer science partly because it feels closer to turning ideas into something real.
Writing code and building things is just a way of trying those ideas out—
some work, some don’t, but all of them count.
I’m not used to speaking in absolutes,
and I’m still figuring out what I really want to do.
But for now, I’m still willing to think, to try,
and to make things that don’t already exist.
If there’s one thing that hasn’t changed,
it’s probably that I still know how to dream.
And maybe, in a very real world,
we can keep a few unrealistic dreams alive.
